The End of an Era

After 17 years as one of Southern California's leading shows, the Thousand Oaks Car Classic must close its doors. This decision was not easily reached and was facilitated by the desire to not allow the show to depreciate in quality before calling it quits. So the last Concours in Southern California to be run by a car club has ended. I don't feel it right to just walk away without thanking all the folks that have brought their beautiful treasures to display at the show throughout these 17 years. Also thanks to all the loyal judges who have helped keep the high standards in our Concours. Most of all, thanks goes to the Milestone Car Society and Barry Meguiar for the years of continued support. I will always think that we really had something to be proud of through this team effort.

As a tribute to all those who have worked so hard over these past 17 years, rather than let this web site go to waste, we thought we would leave the 2005 car show highlights for you to enjoy.

Sincerely,

Frederick J. Roth
