Blake has been involved in concours judging for over a 30 year period. He has been a manufacturer’s rep since 1960. His love for the automobile goes back to his high school days in Garden City, Long Island, New York, where he rebuilt old Fords and Chevys. In 1973 he became an active member in the Mercedes Benz Club and has been a Past President with a longtime association in their Fashion Island Show. He restored a 280 SL with which he has trophied. He is a past President of the Classics for Hope Chapter of the City of Hope Medical Center and is Chief Judge for the Muckenthaler Motor Car Show. He has been actively involved in judging such shows as Palm Springs, Palos Verdes, Newport, and Huntington Beach, to mention a few.
