Roy, our chief judge, has enjoyed automobiles all his life. During the mid 1970's he became the curator of a private collection of Rolls-Royces and Duesenbergs and also worked with the Hillcrest Collection of Beverly Hills. His experience as a judge started in 1981 with the Santa Barbara Concours d' Elegance and in 1992 was appointed the position as Chief Judge for that event. Starting in 1997 he also became the Chief Judge of the Le Cercle Concours d' Elegance. At present, he is also Chief Judge for Palos Verdes and judges at the Newport Concours. He is co-host of the Car Guy radio show on KTMS in Santa Barbara, as well as being the resident historian for the Car Guy Show, which is now playing on the internet. He is currently the owner of East West Motors in Santa Barbara, a specialist in Jaguar and Range Rover service.
